Activities

Hohewarte consists of 10000ha of unspoilt nature with breath-taking scenery, including the Bismark Mountains and the Elephant River.

Nature Drive

We offer an approx. 2-hour drive on our grounds. It goes through the Elephant River, past 1000-year-old camel thorn trees along the Rosa Mountains. With a bit of luck, the rare Hartmann’s mountain zebra can be seen, as well as various antelopes and birds.

Hiking Trails

Various hiking trails offer the opportunity to explore the farm on your own.

Pool

Our large natural pool with comfortable loungers and sunshades offers an ideal opportunity to relax.

Lapa

Enjoy your meals on our new reed-covered lapa with a view over the farm grounds. Have your sundowner at the cosy corner bar. Spend the evening relaxing around our open campfire. If the conditions permit, we offer a stargazing hike.
